The camera on the Oneplus 8 does provide decent shots but lacks in performance. The Oneplus 8 can take pictures with sharper details with the help of proper lighting conditions. The phone struggles in the night mode. There’s no telephoto lens, which is a bit disappointing. It uses the digital zoom instead of optical zoom, which gives pixelated pictures. The phone struggles in low light conditions as well.

Both devices can shoot video at 4K at 60 fps. The Oneplus 8 Pro leads ahead with the added benefits to its camera. The Image stabilization works flawlessly on both smartphones.

The selfie cameras on both devices give you the same results with 16 MP lens, and for the front-facing video recording, there is no 4K option available.

The one thing missing here is the pop-up selfie camera, and that would have made this an overall excellent package, at least for the Oneplus 8 Pro, which has a gorgeous looking display. Overall both devices never fail to provide the ultimate performance as you would expect from a Flagship.

The Oxygen OS works beautifully on these devices, and it is the world’s most well-optimized skin available on Android. Both phones have superb cameras, this provides vibrant and lifelike image quality, but the downside here is that Oneplus 8 lacks some of the camera features. Oneplus 8 Pro outperforms the competition with its features. Definitely, Oneplus 8 Pro is the Flagship of 2020. If you like the compactness of the device and don’t wanna spend $999 on a Pro version, then definitely the OnePlus 8 is the device you’re looking for.
