Poco M2 design.
Poco M2 shares the same design as the Redmi 9 Prime.
The Poco M2 feels premium in the hands. Thanks to the even weight distribution the phone feels lighter.
Poco M2 has rounded corners on the back panel for better grip. You can simply operate this phone with a single hand.
The physical overview of the phone is very good and the arrangements of the volume and the power button is on the right side.
There is no IP68 rating on the Poco M2 but it comes with the P2I coating which makes this phone splashproof.
The best thing about this phone is that you can put two sim cards and a microSD card as well.
The screen size is 6.53 inch which is not too big or not too small. The display is FHD and it is bright enough for outdoor usage.
There is a gorilla glass 3 protection for the display and there is nothing to complain about when it comes to the display and overall build quality.
Poco used a quad-camera setup on this device which is pretty much normal these days.
But the important thing about this camera system is that you can shoot full HD video with the help of macro lens.
The camera performance in the bright daylight is very good and the colors, saturation, and sharpness of the photos look amazing.
In the artificial lighting, the camera outputs very nice photos. Camera struggles a bit in the low lighting conditions.
Portraits also look nice and the edge detection is also very good.
The 8 MP Selfie camera gives you nice photos and there is nothing to complain about the camera considering the pricing of the phone.
The video recording is very good and the stabilization works very well on this phone.
The Poco M2 comes with the Mediatek Helio G80 processor and 6GB RAM.
The RAM management is very good on this phone and due to that, you will not notice any lags on this phone.
You can play demanding games on this device like the PUBG and COD. The overclocked GPU handles the games very well and there is little to no lag while playing games.
Due to the better RAM management the MIUI feels responsive and the app opening and closing feel faster.
There are no ads on the MIUI 12 but there are some app recommendations which is annoying.
The Poco M2 packs a 5000mAh battery which easily lasts you for around one and half days.
The only disappointment about this phone is its 10W charger.
Poco should have provided the 18W charger instead of the 10W. The charging speed gets reduced due to the charger.
The Poco M2 supports the 18W charging but Poco is bundling a 10W charger in the box.
The Poco M2 is a very nice phone and provides all the necessary things and I’ve covered all the points in this Poco M2 review.
This is the Poco M2 Review and if we take a look at the pricing of this phone there is nothing to complain about.
There are devices that offer HD screens with the same pricing but the Poco M2 comes with the FHD screen.
The camera performance is decent and Poco used the quad-camera setup to give you a better camera experience.
Overall the Poco M2 is a good device with better internals and if its fits your budget then there is no other device that can replace Poco M2.
